DOERS VIDEO CONTEST 2012
For 2012 we have a green twist on DOERS. Joining forces with kyGREEN.tv and LFUCG we are asking all filmmakers to create a five minute or LESS video on something environmental in your community.
Whether that be a cutting edge local business or non profit organization, a neighbor who always picks up after her dog, litter patrol, a governmental or neighborhood project or a company who has decided to go green and is saving money while doing it - make a movie about it!
Last year several of our filmmakers submitted green oriented videos, which is where the idea for a green theme came from. Check out those videos HERE for inspiration.
If your video is chosen for 2012 your video will be posted on kyGREEN.tv. All participants are invited to ask for a 30 minute critique at the end of the contest by one of our judges.
This year the LFUCG has generously donated the downtown pavilion for viewing the selected finalists on Earth Day!!!!! So get to filming, find your story and submit. The guidelines are below.
GUIDELINES
1. You must submit a five minute or less video on something green in your community or state.
2. The video must be in a Quick Time or Pro Res format file for uploading and review.
Please send a copy of the file on a disk and your name, contact information and the title of the short film to:

3. A $3.00 submission FEE does apply for each video.
4. You can submit more than one video and can be of any age.
5. All copy-written music and images must to licensed or public domain.
